Successful tournament show

Once again we can be happy together with two of Pedros students. Last weekend Lara Johanna Ehlen was able to claim the 4th place in the dressage tournament Kl. L on curb with the horse “Kate Middleton. Also Evke Schröder was able to get a ranking in the dressage tournament Kl. L at the riding tournament in Bockhorn. She won the 3rd place on “Zalando”.
We congratulate the riders and wish for continuous success!

First tournament experience

Yesterday was the Late Entry Dressage Tournament in Elmlohe. This tournament with a nice and relaxed atmosphere at best weather conditions was the perfect opportunity for Pedro to participate. In order to train the young horses for tournaments and prepare older ones for the tournament season, Pedro joined the tourney.
Training horse “Frandrokus” was able to present himself confident in the dressage horse tournament class A and L despite the missing experience. Also training horse “Belle Fleur” presented itself in a satisfactory manner by claiming the sixth place in the dressage tournament class M**.
We’d like to thank all the helpers and friends who came to cheer and looking forward to the upcoming tournaments.

Future day at Pedro Pavao Dressage

Last Thursday on Future Day (Zukunftstag) we had energic support. Marie, Charlotte, Larissa and Lena visited us to experience the daily life of a fully qualified groom. They accompanied us from the feeding up to the work with the horses. Under supervision they were allowed to assist at the feeding, taking the horses to the pasture and cleaning the pony lady Emma. To get a clear view of the job as a fully qualified groom they couldn’t miss the physical work like sweeping the court and the stable alley. But the girls mastered even these tasks with motivation and diligent. In return every girl was allowed to ride a couple of laps.

Tournament season begins with double win

Last weekend Lia Teichmann was able to claim the first place two times in a row with her horse “Future Star”. She won on the rider tournament Petersfehn the dressage tournament class L with snaffle and the dressage tournament class L with curb.
We congratulate the rider and wish her further success.

Renovations and modernazing goes on

Just in time for the dark season we were able to renew the whole lightning of the riding hall. This way it stays bright and in best training conditions even in the dark winter evenings.
Also the paint works is about to be finished. This shows the riding facility in an clean and bright look.
Furthermore we maintenanced the tack room for our clients and provide them with lockers.
We’d like to thank our diligent helpers!

Another student successful

We can also be proud of Antonia Berg who was successful at the Hubertus Reitverein Bremen e.V. tournament. She claimed the 4th place with her horse “Canadian Summer Dream” in the dressage tournament class M. We congratulate the rider and wish a continuous success!

Riding student successful

Even in the cold season we can be happy about successes. Rebecca von Heugel was able to claim the 4th place in the dressage tournament class A and the 5th place in the dressage class L with her horse “Fugger von der Lilie” at the Hubertus Reitverein Bremen e.V. tournament.
We congratulate the rider and wish a continuous success.

From old to new

Before the cold temperatures are coming to us, we took the chance to clean and paint the stable corridor and horse boxes. This way the mares, foals, young horses and seniors went back from the pasture into clean and bright boxes. The tournament and trainee horses are happy about the bright and clean boxes as well.
As special thanks to our diligent helpers!

Hay nets

*Unpaid advertisement, because products are shown*

Apart from adequate time on the paddock and pasture, we wish for occupation for our horses in their boxes. For a horse-friendly keeping, it’s important for us that a large amount of roughage is available at any time. This sadly has the major disadvantage, that the horses are spreading the hay inside the box. Some of them are even placing their droppings right onto the hay pile, despite the boxes being large. By the end of the day this means that we have to waste precious forage on the dung heap. Because of that we decided to invest in hay nets (as seen in the picture).
These nets are providing the horses with forage to at least the next feeding and they are occupied. The boxes are much cleaner than before and we don’t waste any fodder.

Antonia Berg successful

Once again we can be happy together with a student of Pedro. Antonia Berg was able to claim the 3rd place in the M** dressage tournament in Scharnebeck with “Canadian Summer Dream”. And the 8th place in the M* dressage tournament. We’re happy together with the rider and with a continuous success.
